We find ourselves looking for a Business Analyst (Bank - bilingual DE/ENG) who will integrate in the GNT team in Düsseldorf.

TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES:

The business analyst supports the users in analysing and documenting the business processes and user requirements
Ensures that the IT solution meets the user requirements and complies with existing IT principles and policies
Establish functional specifications and data modelling, co-ordinates user acceptance testing and supports the drafting of the business area’s related documentation
Based on the available software, outdated documentation and interviews with the business owner, draft a systems’ requirements functional specification covering the functional and non-functional requirements.
Draft the test plan and test specification
Write a user guide for a software to be implemented
Prepare and conduct the training for the mission management information system to be implemented
Assist the project manager in planning activities
Organises workshops and co-ordination of project stakeholders, taking into account the data and information required for this activity and the project schedule based on user-requirements
Formulates Service Management procedures and Service Level requirements based on end-user input
Develops business cases and approaches/methodologies to the analysis work
Performing requirement engineering activities based on formal techniques and methods (analysing, capturing and managing requirements)
Modelling of business processes
Test according to business specifications

EDUCATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

University or college degree in computer engineering, computer science or business administration
Professional qualifications in business analysis

ADVANTAGEOUS REQUIREMENTS:

Familiarity with BABOK
Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools (like MERISE, CMMI, SOx…)
Some IT knowledge would be a plus: AS 400, GAP, RPG, ILE ; languages like C, WINDEV, JAVA ; Database : SQL, XML

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Excellent knowledge in defining and documenting user requirements, both functional and non-functional;
An experience in drafting functional specifications based on the existing software;
Backgroung in IT/Bank
Experience to analyse and document ‘to-be’ business processes;
Ability to provide GAP analysis for the processes of the ‘to-be’ system vs existing business processes
Ability to prepare an User Guide
Experience to conduct user training
Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal;
Knowledge in requirement engineering activities based on formal techniques and methods (comprising the analysis, capture and management of requirements);
Very good command of German and English with proven drafting ability;
Experience in applying test methodologies
Excellent analytical skills and a problem-solving orientation;
Excellent knowledge in using Microsoft applications, including: Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio.
Strong interpersonal skills, customer orientation, self-motivation, and the ability to work in a small team are very important.
